Excellent knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools and techniques are essential as is a proven track record of enterprise architecture in largescale environments.  You must have a proven track record in both a technical and strategic capacity with a data-driven approach to solving complex BI/DW problems in a fast-paced environment. 

Working as a principal enterprise architect for the group, you will be involved in the strategy and management of complex data architecture initiatives but this is not a hands-off programme management role, so architecture and design are still very much part of the role.  You must have strong data-modelling, design and architecture skills, ideally working in a mixed technical environment. 

Previous Banking (retail/investment/commercial) or financial services background is a distinct advantage, although a proven record in any other major global data centric/reliant companies would also be relevant.  Strong communication skills are imperative to liaise with senior stakeholders and offshored/outsourced partners alike.  

Experience of Industry Standard Neutral Data Models would be beneficial.  There will be fantastic opportunities for progression and to further advance your technical and business skills with an outstanding team of experts.
