ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successfully candidate will join the 24-hour global trading team as a trading risk analyst.  He or she will work closely with senior members of the team in primarily risk management and a special projects capacity.  Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

oProvide continuous risk management and compliance support via interaction with Trading, IT, Legal, and the Operations groups.

oAssist to review and enhance the Trading Risk Limit and Validation checks.

oConduct trading control and risk management review and assessment. 

oHelp document trading policies and procedures, and the controls.

oAssist to manage the Counterparty risk by performing exposure analysis and conduct credit analysis on the counterparts. 

oDefine risk management project requirements and work with IT to develop the applications. 

oContinue to improve and automate the existing trading procedures, reports, and various analyses. 

KEY STRENGTHS:

oStrong statistical and financial modelling skills. 

oBackground in compliance and operations management.

oGood computer skills.  

oKeen attention to detail

oAbility to effectively multi-task and prioritize

oWorks well under pressure. 

oPossesses excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to produces documents through clear and concise writing and analytical thinking.  

oTeam player, positive attitude, honest and reliable, self starter, and diligent.

oInterest in the security industry. 

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

oFirst-class academic record and, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree.

oStrong computer skills with experience with SQL and knowledge of basic programming. 

oCFA or other industry qualifications is required.
