A multi-client Sovereign-affiliated private investment office within the Dubai International Financial Centre is looking to add an Investment Accountant and Investment Controller to their Asset Management team.
Investment Accountant:
Financial accounting including maintaining and reconciling the general ledger for all investment companies;
Financial reporting including producing ad hoc analysis as required and preparing the annual audit file, consolidations and financial statements for all investment companies and liaising with the auditors;
Ensuring the funds are in a position operationally to invest in all asset classes globally as
required;
Preparation of bank reconciliations and cash forecasts, liaising closely with the party awarded the cash management mandate to ensure the timely transfer of appropriate information;
Ensuring all regulatory reporting and filing requirements are met in a timely manner; and
Preparation of Client and Management reports as required.
Investment Controller:
Bookkeeping, regular monitoring, preparation of periodic reports and analyses of custodian bank processes
Preparing structured analyses and manual or partially automated client reports for client assets
Monitoring direct and indirect costs as part of investment management
Monitoring internal investment and compliance processes and outsourced services
Project work followed by assumption of ongoing duties
