Responsibilities
Seeking, organized, energetic learning and development professional with a background in curriculum development. This individual will work with subject matter experts and members of HR Organization to analyze, design, and produce instructional materials including, job aids, in-class exercises, and training manuals. In addition, this individual will assist in the facilitation of classes. Background in financial services or professional services industries preferred. Position reports to the global head of Leadership and Development. Key Responsibilities -Key member of the Learning & Organization Development team ensuring that appropriate, efficient and effective instructional strategies are identified and applied to Moody's global leadership, management and professional development programs. -Responsible for all aspects (full life-cycle) of assigned training programs from initial design to measurement and reporting. Works with Learning & Organization Development team and business leaders to translate business needs into high-impact learning designs (e.g. curriculum, tools, workshops, etc.) that help build leadership and management capability. -Consults with business and HR clients on the skill building/ training needs for the business and provides ideas and suggestions for ensuring high impact learning at appropriate cost levels. Works in partnership with Subject Matter Experts and HR professionals supporting various lines of business to develop and incorporate Moody's-specific examples into instructional materials. -Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high quality design, regular reviews with clients (i.e., from proof of concept through delivery) and subject matter experts. Produces on time delivery and embeds principles of change management throughout projects. -Ensures all curriculum design materials that are clear, concise, consistent, instructionally sound, and will deliver against the training/skill building objectives. -Facilitates pilot, train-the-trainer and go-live classes for leadership and management development curriculum. Determines strengths and weaknesses of training design and identifies continuous improvement opportunities. -Directs the performance of contractors in developing and monitoring style and standards and to develop and maintain standards and style for all types of deliverables as needed.
Qualifications
-Five to seven years of experience working in a learning and development group on training development/instructional design projects. -Bachelor's degree with corporate level experience in curriculum development and implementation. Masters degree preferred. -Experience working with e-learning, blended learning programs and web-based training -Experience developing instructional materials including simulations, role play activities, case studies, and experiential activities, pre- and post- tests, and facilitator directions for blended learning solutions. -Experience with Learning Management Systems -Strong verbal, written and facilitation communication skills required. -Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
