Responsibilities of the role:
The successful candidate will provide 1st level support across the Equity Derivatives applications (Front Office, Middle Office and Sales) for Asia A strong focus on client service and an understanding of the time sensitive nature of the Production environment is essential. A very strong interest in Derivatives-related businesses is also needed as it is a high-visibility role involving building relationships with not only traders, sales and middle-office users, but also with the local development teams and IT managers Requirements of the role: • Very Strong Communication Skills • Ideally have exposure to C#, .NET, Excel VBA, Sophis, Orc or Similar • Database Exposure (Sybase, Oracle or similar). • 3+ years of experience within IT Derivatives • 1+ years of Trading Floor Support • Very strong interpersonal skills • Equity Derivatives Knowledge is a must • Self Motivated and Independent Mandatory Technical Experience • Unix system tools and scripting / Windows shell scripting • SQL (IBM UDB, Sybase, MS-SQL, Oracle) • Autosys Work in this strong global financial institution and develop your skill base in both technology and business.
