This role is responsible for managing the lateral recruitment relationship and delivering the recruitment requirements of the Equities Front Office team. The individual will be a member of the EMEA Lateral Recruitment team based in London.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Strategy / Governance / Policy: - Execute the global and regional strategy, policy and agenda for lateral recruiting - Ensure that Credit Suisse is positioned as an industry leader to bring competitive advantage to the Bank - Establish brand awareness for Credit Suisse, communicate corporate culture, and convey relevant organizational values and opportunities for professional advancement - Develop initiatives to drive work to self-service and Client Service Representatives (Tier 1)
Leadership / Management: - Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective identification, acquisition, selection and hiring of the most suitable and motivated employees from internal and external markets within Equities Front Office - Ensures SLAs and KPIs are met for scope of process performance responsibility (division, region, global) - Manages 3rd party relationships with recruiting search firm vendors - Manages recruiting staff as required
Client / Candidate / Partner Relations: - Manage/participate in bank wide projects/programs/initiatives as part of the Lateral Recruitment Front Office team - Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Equities HR team. - Cultivates relationships with recruiting organizations, interface partners and external contacts, in development and execution of recruitment marketing campaigns - Supports management and HRBAs/HRBPs in identifying staffing needs - Cultivates relations with internal and external applicants - Manages and resolves complex inquiries (T3 cases) from employees, managers and other HR on behalf of the SME - Liaises with SDC to resolve transactional queries as necessary - Displays professionalism and integrity in all contact with applicants, line managers and HR colleagues.
Functional / Process Group: - Ensure that all sourcing channels are used including; direct sourcing, referrals and 3rd party vendors where appropriate - End to end ownership of talent acquisition; selection/interview management/offer/on-boarding - Follows lateral recruiting HR strategy and policy - Performs job requisition creation and administers requisition approval process whilst also creating job specifications, job postings and places postings as appropriate - Processing internal and external applications for permanent positions and handling unsolicited applications - Sources lateral candidates using professional recruiting techniques. Must be able to market and sell Credit Suisse to potential applicants - Screens applications and conducting pre-selection and application interviews - Consults with Hiring Manager and Comp Analyst on offer details - Revise offer letter/contract - Presents verbal offer to candidate and negotiates as necessary - Recruits diversity candidates for positions - Delivers Lateral Recruiting programs/projects in response to HRBP and HRA requests and queries - Develops initiatives to drive recruiting self-service and use of Client Service Representatives (Tier 1) - Provide input to help develop, standardize and continuously improve lateral recruiting processes, candidate selection, integration, technology and infrastructure with the goal to simplify and enhance processes, procedures, and related enabling technologies TO QUALIFY YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Exhibits professionalism and integrity in contact with clients and applicants - Ability to research and analyze recruitment data, and clearly present findings - Ability to bring creative insight to the recruiting processes and practical solutions to the implementation and administration of recruiting process. - Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills as well as attention to detail - Strong team player with the ability to drill down on important issues and be directly involved in day-to-day execution - Ability to manage own time effectively, work independently, and take accountability for actions while still maintaining a collaborative team environment - High energy level and passion with the ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Creative problem-solving skills and proven track record of gaining confidence, respect, and trust from all levels of management - Ability to develop relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and senior professionals internally and externally - Significant hands-on experience and aptitude in front office lateral recruiting - Ability and experience recruiting potential candidates for open positions. Identifying candidates through direct sources.
