Job Description:

SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position will be to pro-actively manage evaluations, models, client challenges and relationships within Structured Products. The candidate must possess knowledge of the markets and will be responsible for processing the daily evaluation file, reviewing and monitoring daily tolerance reports. The ideal candidate must understand the deal structure, collateral and must possess the knowledge to stress deals by generating scenarios to perform a multi-path cash flow analysis of the securities. He or she must also have very strong communication and analytical skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as being detail orientated. The candidate must possess the ability to respond to time-critical customer inquiries via Lotus Notes, e-mail, or telephone. The flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in the evaluation group is also essential.
In addition, the evaluator will be responsible for monitoring news and market conditions for specific sectors, as well as, obtaining market information from existing and acquired contacts. Success in this position requires that a close and trusting professional relationship be built with market participants, clients, and customer service. Additionally, success will be dependent on the evaluator’s ability to maintain a well organized and clearly documented overview of the evaluation process in accordance with the policies and procedures utilized within the MRS Group.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of three to five years experience in Structured Products.
• Superior knowledge of Fixed Income Markets.
• Working knowledge of IntexNet/Intex Desktop
• Ability to facilitate superior market participant relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Market knowledge and awareness.
• Independent self starter, able to sustain productivity.
• Team player with the willingness to take direction from management.
• Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives.
• PC literate, knowledgeable in Windows, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
