The Incumbent is responsible for the recruitment, leadership and direction the BNY Mellon Wealth Management regional sales team and is accountable for helping them achieve both regional and individual sales goals

POSITION:

The Incumbent is responsible for the recruitment, leadership and direction the BNY Mellon Wealth Management regional sales team and is accountable for helping them achieve both regional and individual sales goals. The incumbent will develop production goals and calling activity targets for the sales team, will oversee implementation of this activity plan, and is responsible for the overall sales process, sales results, and staff development of team members. S/he will act as a senior advisor in the closing of complex sales, development and budgeting of the strategic marketing plan and will represent the regional sales team to the Regional President, Regional Managing Director of Portfolio Management, and private banking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Incumbent should possess 10+ years of related sales/sales management experience preferably in financial services. S/he will have a proven track record of successful selling, problem solving, and teambuilding. S/he must have strong client service skills and the ability to effectively communicate investment strategy and process. S/he must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills. The Managing Director of Sales must work well with all departments within the organization and motivate individuals to work together for the overall benefit of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
