This is an opportunity to work with iShares: the world’s most comprehensive family of exchange traded products with more than 190 exchange traded funds and exchange traded notes offered globally. We are seeking high energy, self-motivated Business Development Associates (BDA) to build and grow client relationships with institutional clients as a key member of a Business Development Team within the Institutional channel of the US-Intermediary Investor Business (IIB) group. The primary target audience will be large buy side accounts including Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds on the East Coast.
Primary Responsibilities - Maintain intensive and extensive telephone and written contacts with current clients. Contacts include consultants, plan sponsors and insurance companies. - Assist with penetrating existing client base looking for new business opportunities.- Field, respond and accommodate day-to-day client requests regarding procedures, funding activities, billing issues, contractual issues and new assets. - Prospect for new accounts. - Assist Business Development Officers in developing consultative relationships with current clients. - Attend client meetings as required. - Coordinate and structure presentation materials for client meetings. - Expand knowledge of products, services and sales techniques to provide consistently improved assistance especially gain iShares knowledge. - Oversee client contact via CRM.
Qualifications - BA/BS in Economics, Finance and Accounting degrees strongly preferred. - 3+ years of directly related experience. - FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required. - Strong analytical ability, maturity and judgment in dealing with institutional clients. - High energy, motivated individual. - Commitment to excellence. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based technology. - Strong character references. - Clean U-4.
